Hear what our customers have to say

Brian has been a lifesaver over the years as a property manager for my business. He is always on call and always ready to help 24/7. We have had several ventilation, plumbing, and other emergencies, usually during the weekends, and Brian has always jumped in immediately and sourced the required tradesmen if necessary to get the job done and get me back up and running ASAP. He is always there to maintain the property when I am away, and truly busts his ass 7 days a week to keep my building in great working condition. He treats my property as if it were his own. I am very grateful for all the years of loyal, prompt, professional and effective property management by Brian and his trades.
Thanks and have a great day!

Building Traditions was hired to repair our basement wall on our house on Airport Road, Ramara Township, RR#6, Orillia, Ontario. Our basement structure was made with cinder blocks and due to water leaking through our existing eavestrough, a portion of the front wall had caved in to the point that the soil was coming into the basement through the hole in the wall. The water had also eroded the earth under the floor causing the house to be uneven and creating cracking in the rest of the house.

We had a few contractors in to look at our situation but they were not willing to take on this project. Brian Miscio of Building Traditions came in to look at our renovation and right from the onset he showed an interest and didn’t seem to have any problem taking on this project. Brian wasn’t very long and sent us a quote along with his ideas to correct our problem with the wall. We met a few times and had numerous conversations prior to the work starting. It took a bit longer than originally expected but with a job of this type you don’t know what you are going to run into until you start digging. Again, anything Brian found he would immediately keep us informed and give us his recommendations and suggestions on how to rectify the issue.

Since, Brian was already on site we had him also do a few other repairs which required attention,( a new roof, new seamless eavestrough and downspouts, removal and installation of new blown in insulation in the attic, new basement windows and capping on the 54’ wall he was repairing, completely insulating the basement walls as well as putting down a sub floor throughout the basement area. We found Building Traditions and his tradesman to be efficient, knowledgeable and professional at all times. Not once did we feel pressured to make any decisions, everything was thoroughly explained and we could think about items prior to making any decisions. I would not hesitate to use Building Traditions again should the need arise and would most certainly recommend them to anyone.

Many thanks,

We have used Brian and his team on several occasions and have been satisfied with his work and pricing.Several years ago he and his company did a complete renovation of our cottage into a year-round home. Last month he did our roof--his price was competitive and the work was done when scheduled. The entire roof was completed in one day.Our experience has been that he meets his price estimate and does a good job.He is very easy to work with and try hard to meet your requirements and requests.I would highly recommend him and will use him again.
